This explains what personal data Pie Zeses collects when you subscribe to the newsletter or use the site, and what we do with it. Cookies and similar storage are covered separately in the Cookie Policy.

When you subscribe, we store your email address, your language (English or Greek), and when you signed up. We use it only to send you new stories, recipes and places from Pie Zeses. Emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery service, which processes your address on our behalf. We never sell or share your address for marketing.

Shop notifications

If you ask to be notified about a product or the shop opening, we store your email, the product, your language and when you agreed, and use it only to email you about that.

Search and usage

Search terms typed into the site's search are stored without any link to you, to help us understand what readers look for. Anonymous traffic statistics come from Vercel Web Analytics; see the Cookie Policy for details.

Keeping and deleting your data

Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link. Using it permanently deletes your address from our subscriber list straight away. You can also email us at hello@piezeses.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted.

Where it is stored

Subscriber data is held in a managed database hosted in the EU (Railway, West Europe).
